It is unknown what happens in a tie in the roll off, but most likely there would be a reroll on the roll off until someone won. In the case of a tiebreaker due to only two frames being played, the game would go to a roll off, in which with one roll, the best scoring combination won the game. If there is a tie in a frame, whoever won the other frame would win. The mother or father(swapping out for the two frames) would help decide with the family what they should do and how to get the best possible scoring combination. The family with the better scoring combination wins a frame, and the first family to win two frames wins the game. After each roll, they could either keep what they had, reroll some of the pins (see above), or switch out some of the pins. If the bigger number quanity is tied, the remaining numbers decide the winner of the frame.Įach family got 3 rolls to get the best combination they can. Note: If two families have the same combination, the bigger number quantity will determine the winner(i.e 3 of a kind 6's in a full house beat 3 of a kind 5's). 5 of a kind (5 of the same number, aka Yahtzee) and everybody screams YAHTZEE!.The object of the game is to make the best possible scoring combination.
